Summer update!!

Summer is quickly coming to an end. School will start in about 3 weeks. Here are a few pics from summer so far.

Dylan and his biggie boy bed!!! Made by Grandpa Korstange just for him. So far he has only fallen out 4 times.

We had a really long week, last week. Dylan was home sick all week. We even made a trip to the E.R. on Tuesday night about 11:30. He ended up having croup...not fun. But is doing a lot better. We will be using the nebulizer until his birthday in April since he has had so many illnesses this winter.

Since Christmas, Dylan has been obsessed with the Frosty movie, book, and even Frosty ice cream, etc. He loves to sing the song...even if the verses are mixed up. Too cute...

December 24th....Christmas Eve. Lauryn made it back from her trip to Michigan. She had a great time and we missed her lots. Dylan and Matt were not feeling well that day. After I got home from work at noon I took both of them to RediMed to get checked out. They both ended up with bronchitis and we went home with meds for the breathing machine. It never seems to fail at our house, someone is always sick for Christmas. Luckily they weren't feeling too bad. More later....

December 19th we were hit with a huge ice storm. It started during the night and covered the area with over a 1/4 inch of ice. School was canceled so Lauryn did not have her holiday party. Matt had to venture off to work by 7 am...driving was not fun. My office lost power about 9 am on that Friday and as of right now (Tuesday at 3:15) still no power. My sister's family made it here from AR on Saturday late afternoon. My friend Stacey (see photo) lost power at her house so she was our house guest for the weekend...she now has power at home.

Lauryn traveled up North with my sister's family to visit Grandma & Grandpa Korstange. She is having a great time with her cousins and playing in the snow.
